Monki 'Tanja' top: the perfect, cheaper alternative to the COS striped sheer top that I was originally obsessing over! Perfect with jeans and sandals for the day, as well as adapting it for an evening look with a pair of heels!
MAC 'Peachstock' lipstick: pretty sure this is discontinued now :( but I'm on the hunt for the perfect nude-peach lipstick which won't make me look washed out/dead
Topshop cami's: an essential, basic piece for any outfit! Do I need to explain any further...
Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' perfume: I've had this perfume before and haven't had the chance to repurchase but I really want to invest in the summer edition of this perfume if it hasn't been discontinued already
Michael Kors 'Selma' bag: Bit of a dream purchase. It is perfection, that is all
Converse white lowtops: I think these are an essential for the summer and really need to buy a pair, I could see them going really nicely with a pair of boyfriend ripped jeans I've recently just bought from River Island

Hope you've liked my "wishlist" post of things I've been obsessing over through the month of June! I'm definitely still in need of a shopping trip to London to check out Monki, and a browse through Selfridges, etc so hopefully I will stick to my promise and get a haul type post up soon.
I have recently done quite a biiiiiit of shopping to say the least, but I've not been able to photograph everything properly yet.. so I guess that's my next mission

Stayed tuned for more posts to soon come! Thanks for reading Xo

OUTFIT | Here & there

shirt: primark (with primark top worn underneath) / jeans: zara / shoes: primark / necklace: forever21 / nails: models own 'beach party'

This was an outfit I wore whilst visiting Covent Garden to have a look at the Paul Smith shops for my college work. Luckily it was a beautiful day in London so I got away with not having a wear a jacket and it finally felt like summer was on it's way! P.s, my apologies for my awful face and hair in the photo.. not always a good look after traipsing around London all day in the heat!

jacket: primark / top: new look (primark top worn underneath) / jeans: new look / shoes: primark / bag: zara

Another ootd I wore to college, however I spent most of the day outside as we had such nice weather again!
Hopefully I will have some more interesting/summery ootd posts to come as I'm planning a mahooooosive shopping trip in London hopefully for the end of the month! Hope everyone is well and enjoying the weather whilst it's here.. unlike me who always leaves work to do for the more sunny days (hence the paleness, clearly). Thanks for reading! Xo

HAUL | Small haul!

Hello! Thought I'd do a short haul of things I bought today (mainly because I'm obsessed with the shoes I bought.. but a post is better than nothing!)

Zara 'White Jasmine' pefume £7.99 (50ml)

My first purchase was some perfume, as you can see in the picture I finished up my first bottle of it and it's such a nice scent for everyday use and it's so inexpensive! Also I noticed they changed the packaging and the bottle and it looks waaaay better (new bottle to the right of the picture)! Over all very pleased with this purchase and can't wait to start wearing it again. On the packaging it describes the smell as "Floral, musky and fruity. Top notes: Apple, Freesia, Bamboo. Heart notes: Jasmine, Rose, Lotus. Base notes: White wood, Musk, Amber."

Forever 21 mint and gold necklace £5.65

I bought this necklace after having this in a bracelet form and really wanted it as a necklace so as soon as I saw this in Forever21 I had to get it! Versatile as well as you can wear it with the mint colour showing, or use the necklace on the reverse side and have it as a plain gold chunky necklace.

I've added a link to these trousers as they we're so awful to photograph but I bought these for a party I'm off to on Friday night so I thought these statement trousers with a plain black top would be nice. Not much to say about these but I've seen a lot of these bold statement trousers so I'm guessing it could be a trend for S/S? Also really pleased with the pricing of these as they would be another £20+ on top of the price paid if I were to get something similar in Topshop, etc!

Faith at Debenhams platform heels £55 reduced to £27.50

Once again I'm rubbish at photographing everything so I've added the link to shoes on the website where you can get a better look, but I think they're so beaut! At nearly 6 inches on the heels I think I'm going to be sitting down all night or falling everywhere but they were too nice to pass by, especially at such a good price! I had seen them when they were at full price but definitely couldn't afford/justify it, but I thought at a bargain of £27.50 I had to treat myself!

That's all for my short, little haul but I hope you've seen something that's interested you! Once again, thank you for reading! Xo

MAKE UP | Top 5 nail polishes for spring!

Hello, another post from me as I'm going to try and step up my game as I have the next two weeks free from college work and other life drama's! This is going to be a post on my top 5 nail polish picks for spring time!

(Apologies for the crap quality picture!)
Left to right: Mavala 'Sapporo' / Mavala 'Honolulu' / Essie 'Fiji' / Barry M 'Peach Melba' / Models Own 'Beach party'

My first pick is my all time favourite nude which I think is appropriate for all year round, which is 'Sapporo' by Mavala. The application of this nail polish is great, and you can easily get away with one coat and it usually lasts well on my nails in comparison to other brands.

Second pick for spring time nails is another Mavala nail polish, called 'Honolulu'. This is more of a recent purchase and I can definitely see me getting more use out of it during spring time if I want a more colourful and girly look.

Essie 'Fiji' is my third pick for a more neutral option, it is so beautiful on tanned skin so I will use this once we finally get some sunshine! I find this colour is quite tricky to apply and not make it go on streaky, but if I get it right I think it's a great nail polish choice!

As pastels are always a trend for spring I think a good choice would be 'Peach Melba' by Barry M. Over all a good nail polish taking in the price point, application and their colour range.

My last and most statement nail polish is Models Own 'Beach party' from their Hed Kandi range. I can see this colour easily taking me through from spring time to summer as it's such a bold and fun colour! Definitely one to pick when you're feeling brave.

Hope you've enjoyed going through my top 5 picks for spring, leave some of your favourites in the comment as I'd love to know. As always, thanks for reading! Xo

MAKE UP | Current everyday make up go-to items

I randomly felt inspired to get a blog post up as I haven't exactly been the best blogger with no recent posts! Anyway.. this is a "current everyday makeup items I've been using" type of thing.

Bourjois healthy mix serum gel foundation / Palmers Cocoa butter formula lip balm / No7 Exceptional Definition mascara / Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner / Sleek 'storm' palette / Nars 'laguna' bronzer

Some of these items have been my absolute favourite for quite some time, like the foundation which is a staple (I even prefer it over the Rimmel wake me up foundation.. which was so overrated). I've also been obsessed with my Nars laguna bronzer since I got it last August, and it was worth every penny! I use it with the Real Techniques blush brush, which works great!

I've had the Sleek storm palette for quite some time now, but not being the heavy eye shadow wearer, I can't say it's got much love from me. However I have recently been loving using the variety of shades it offers, mainly the brown/neutral shades.

I apologize for the state this palette is in! Haha, but most used at the moment is definitely the third in from the top row with a little of the first from the second row blended into the crease!

Adding to the eye region talk, I've also been trying a sample of a  No7 mascara which I really have loved! It gives length and volume and has definitely done wonders for my eyelashes lately. A recent purchase is Collection 2000's felt tip liner; I've also never been a big eyeliner wearer since I bought this as I find it so tricky to get a nice line, however the felt tip is pretty easy to work with.

Last but not least, I guess could be quite a dull mention but it's Palmer's lip balm which is essential during all this crap weather, and it's really helped to keep my lips conditioned!

Hope this hasn't been too much of a boring post, but really just wanted to get something up :) Thanks for reading! Xo

OUTFIT | 25/02/13

Overly casual college outfit

Apologies for the lanyard in the photo!
Jumper: H&M / Sheer blouse (worn underneath the jumper): Primark / Jeans: New look / Chelsea boots: H&M / Necklace: H&M

For the extra warmth, which is a definite must in this typical British weather I added the coat, which is a new purchase and the scarf.
Coat: Next (bought from Choice) / Scarf: Gifted from my brother

Pretty much a boring, typical, everyday outfit that I'd wear to college to keep comfortable. Hopefully I will get round to posting more fun and adventurous outfits! Xo
